Carolina, thank you so much for your five-star review and for those of you listening, if you leave us a five-star review below, you might be next week's Listener of the Week, week, week. So, welcome to season four, this is really exciting. I have some big news and that is that I failed and I'm gonna talk about it. As some of you know,

In the past seasons and over the past year, I had a commercial real estate course and membership. And I was really excited about it, but ultimately I decided to close it. And I learned a lot in the meantime, and I'm excited to talk about it. So I think it's really common to just try to take your failures and not put them in...

public because you don't want people to think that you have failed or you could potentially fail when you're working with them. But the reality is that we all fail. As long as we step up to bat, we will fail. And that's okay. Because if you aren't being honest with yourself and your failures, and you're not being honest with your audience and your customers, it's super obvious, right? And so what I realized...

in closing the membership was that my time was so much better off directed elsewhere. And I want to get into that a little more. So why does nobody want to share their failures? Right. And it's pretty obvious, right? It's awkward. It's uncomfortable. You want to talk about the good stuff, not the bad stuff. But I think when it comes down to it, when you

audience and customers and probably even your friends and family can connect with you more. So a couple weeks back, I was at the Commercial Real Estate Influencer Conference and I was talking to a gentleman by the name of Bob Nackle. As some of you know, Bob's probably the most successful commercial real estate broker of all time. And Bob told me I had to read this book called 10X is Greater Than 2X.

And when Bob says to do something, you do it. So I ran home and read the book. And the book pretty much says, double down on your strengths, cut out everything you're not good at. And then essentially it said, if you can be 20% better at everybody else than at what you're good at, you will be better than everybody else. So I read the book, I thought about it, and I realized

uh, introspectively, that was brokerage for me and that was creating content for you guys. So I decided that I just couldn't put the time into the membership, uh, that I wanted to, that I was putting into the brokerage. And as a result, it was hindering my content and that's not the goal. And that's not why we're here. Uh, so I found my best use of time was selling

courses and I for 2024 I'm really excited to roll out a bunch of new, better, more exciting content. I also kind of hated selling it. I felt kind of sleazy selling it. I don't know what it was about it. So I'm really curious what you are doing in 2024 to double down on your strengths. I highly suggest the book 10X is greater than 2X.
