In commercial real estate, there are 1 million plus ways to make money. And I've noticed, you know, how could the average person who doesn't work in the industry even know the jobs, right? And so I'm taking this episode to talk to you about the different jobs and how you can utilize them to build wealth in the course of your life through commercial real

My personal strategy to create wealth long-term in commercial real estate is the broker, manager, to investor strategy, which I call getting my PhD in commercial real estate. What does that mean? I went out and got my license. I got a job in the industry. I talk about how I did that in the membership. And once I got a job,

got to work. Now when I started my brokerage career and I still broker and learn every day to this day, the point was learning the industry, learning the terms, learning the techniques, learning how to negotiate, learning the properties, learning the players, learning the owners and the roles.

what I decided to do was become a broker so I could learn all of those aspects of the business while I was making money, right? You can't get a, maybe you can get a PhD in real estate. I would not suggest paying for hire for any type of degree in real estate, fight me. But essentially what I consider my PhD in real estate is learning by doing deals

so that when I had established enough money and enough relationships and knowledge I could strike That is my PhD in real estate and and that's my path. It could be your path. You could have a different path There's no right or wrong answer right a couple other job roles in commercial real estate You got the lawyer the syndicator

the developer, the value-add buyer, the institutional buyer. Real estate is a creative sport, right? Everybody thinks it's black and white.

This is truly one of the most creative industries I've ever seen and the possibilities are endless. There is no right or wrong answer.

as long as you have the mindset of a winner and you're working towards your success.

You might not know your role yet, and that's okay. You're here to figure that out. Educate yourself. Get curious, ask questions, join the membership. Go to local investment groups.

What you choose today might not be where you are tomorrow, right? In the last episode, we just talk about how patience pays. Mindset and patience pay that applies directly to your role in this industry. You know, my path of being a broker to an investor got interrupted because I found that I could be this media person in this industry and that it made me

happy and I could help people and I could still build my long-term goal of success in commercial real estate. So the plan you start with today doesn't necessarily mean you have to end with that goal in mind, right? We're just back to planting the garden, right? The seeds of success in commercial real estate to grow our foundation.

And I'll, you know, as a bro, I'm now currently brokering. I'm a media personality and I'm buying property along the way, right? It's also not a only one at a time. So by being here with me today, already, you're doing the right steps, right? You're educating yourself.
